Technical Note

iPECS Analytics P3.5 enhanced call counting

iPECS Analytics P3.5 has an enhanced call counting rule for better reporting and evaluating on specific cases using the (AA) Ringing Point configuration. When it is set to ‘Enabled’, AA it is considered as a Ringing Point, when it’s ‘Disabled’, it’s considered as an Answering Point. This rule can be applied per tenant and according to the (AA) Ringing Point setting there will be a different Call count and its meaning, you can find the differences in the table below.

In iPECS Analytics Settings -> Environment Setting -> Statistics Setting section as shown below, set (AA) Ringing Point to “Enabled”. From now on AA will not be considered an answer point. In case there is a call answered by AA and then transferred to an extension or Hunt Group and is missed, now it will be counted as missed.

You can see below the possible cases of answered and missed calls depending on the above setting.

Tip

‘Standard Plan’ and ‘SIP Trunk Service Plan’ are available for all resellers by default. If SP wants to make them unavailable for a specific reseller.

The service plan ‘Standard Plan’ and ‘SIP Trunk Service Plan’ are available for all resellers with the initial configuration of iPECS Cloud. The service plan ‘Standard Plan’ and ‘SIP Trunk Service Plan’ has ‘Ericsson-LG Enterprise’ in the ‘Allocated Reseller’ with ‘Include Child’ checked.  ‘Ericsson-LG Enterprise’ is the vendor(ELG). It is the initial configuration and allows that ‘Standard Plan’ and ‘SIP Trunk Service Plan’ are available for all resellers.

If SP wants the service plan ‘Standard Plan’ and ‘SIP Trunk Service Plan’ to not be available for a specific reseller, please uncheck ‘Include Child’ of ‘Ericsson-LG Enterprise’.

After unchecking ‘Include Child’ of ‘Ericsson-LG Enterprise’, add resellers and a new reseller to the ‘Allocated Reseller’, who are allowed the ‘Standard Plan’ and ‘SIP Trunk Service Plan’.
